The Great Remote Treaty
For three weeks the TV remote had no clear owner. HappyYak claimed it by right of having it. YakTables produced a spreadsheet of viewing hours. YakSpider found the original receipt.
It was YakDocs who drafted the treaty: forty-one clauses, two appendices and a schedule of permitted snacks. YakSign routed it to every signatory in the correct order, sent three polite reminders to CosmoYak (who was "in orbit"), and stamped it with a ribbon seal.
YakWorkers offered to enforce it, but only with prior approval, within a budget of one channel change per hour.
The remote is now kept in a glass case. Nobody has watched TV since. Everyone agrees this is a fair outcome.
