At 3:02 a.m. GuardYak burst into the hallway, halberd raised. "Something is DOWN."
YakDesk, already wearing the headset (it always is), answered calmly. "Happy to help. What's down?"
"The fireplace. It's returning nothing."
"It's been out since ten," said YakDesk. "It's a fireplace."
YakDrop parachuted in from the landing with a 30-second screen recording titled fireplace_incident_final_v2. Everyone watched it twice. GuardYak filed it under "near misses" and went back to bed, in full armour, which is loud.
